IIDA Debuts Best Interiors of Latin America Competition

The International Interior Design Association announces the debut of the IIDA Best Interiors of Latin America Competition, an international competition honoring the best in interior design projects from Latin America. This competition was created to recognize, honor and celebrate outstanding Interior Design/Architecture projects that represent design excellence in the following countries: Argentina, Aruba, Belize, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Falkland Islands, French Guiana, Guatemala, Guyana, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, Uruguay and Venezuela.

The winning design projects will be selected by a jury of design professionals from ten categories including Corporate Space Large, Cultural/Institutional/Educational, Healthcare, Hotels, Retail. A “Best of Category” winner and a maximum of two “Honorable Mention” recipients in each category will be selected. Photos of the winning projects will be featured on the IIDA website. Deadline to enter is September 14. Winners are announced in October. Learn more about the competition HERE.

We have seen a surge in great projects from Latin America entered in our Design is…Award competition, a global award celebrating design across market segments around the world. Entries for the 2013 Design is…Award are available in September.
