One of our favorite designers to watch, Tokujin Yoshioka, was given the now! design à vivre 2012 Creator of the Year by Maison & Objet, Paris in January. Maison & Objet gives this award every year to one creator who has been influential and impactful on the world’s creative scene. To honor Tokujin Yoshioka, an exhibition was held at Maison & Objet with pieces of his “Crystallized Project.” Started in 2007, the “Crystallized Project” explores the “relationship between power of nature and human beings” and then revealing a new portrait of nature.
Tokujin Yoshioka has also played a role in our COLORevolution, serving as inspiration for The Visionary and The Futurist palettes.
